Senior Citizen's Advisory Committee

The Town of Brookhaven Senior Citizen Advisory Commission established in 1967 is comprised of 15 members: Chairperson; Vice Chairperson; thirteen senior citizen Brookhaven Town residents from various geographic areas throughout the Town in an effort to achieve a balance of membership on the Commission. Members are appointed by the Supervisor and the Town Board. All issues relating to senior citizens are discussed (in a non-partisan manner) and recommendations are made. The commission meets the third Friday of every month, excluding July and August.
