Pam Betheil, Town Clerk
Pam Betheil is a longtime local leader in education; Pam began her career in public service in 1974, when she was elected to the Longwood School Board, for which she later served as President. Today, she serves as President of the Eastern Suffolk Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES).

In addition to over three decades of service in the public education arena, Pam Betheil has been a tireless supporter of community-based initiatives, including founding Longwood People for Learning and the Middle Island Community Blood Bank. Pam has also served as the Chair of the Brookhaven Planning Board (1991 to 2000).
