THE BROOKHAVEN ECONOMIC RECOVERY PROGRAM provides financial assistance to private-sector, for-profit companies located in designated recovery zones in the Town. The program provides low-cost financing for eligible “shovel ready” construction projects, the purchase of eligible real property, the purchase of equipment, and the expansion of property. Available assistance includes tax-exempt bond financing authorized under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
