Women's Recognition Awards Night
The Brookhaven Town Division of Women’s Services is once again seeking nominations for outstanding women of Brookhaven who perform a wide variety of tasks on a professional and volunteer basis.
The Town of Brookhaven has been recognizing these contributions since our first Women’s Recognition in 1986, and this year we will be celebrating our 26th Annual Women’s Recognition during Women’s History Month with a special celebration to be held on Thursday, March 22, 2012.
We are once again asking community groups, businesses and individuals to nominate women they believe are deserving of special recognition for their efforts. We hope that you will nominate such a candidate who lives or works in Brookhaven. The attached nomination form, which explains the award categories, should be returned to the Division of Women’s Services no later than Friday, January 20th, 2012. We ask that you be sure to include a resume (or equivalent) and two (2) letters of recommendation.
