Clean Sweep Map

Over the past six months, Supervisor Lesko and the Town Council members have targeted six neighborhoods around Brookhaven to conduct "Operation Clean Sweep," a coordinated program spearheaded by the Town’s Quality of Life Task Force with the goal of improving the quality of life throughout Brookhaven. Hundreds of street lamps and street signs were fixed, tons of litter was cleaned up, and properties were brought up to code. The Quality of Life Task Force works every day to enforce the Town code against serial offenders. From 2008 to 2010, fines levied on violations have increased 255%.
