Councilwoman Bonner Encourages Community Members Impacted by Superstorm Sandy to Attend FEMA Information Session in Rocky Point on January 10

Farmingville, NY – On Thursday, January 10 at 6:00 pm, Councilwoman Jane Bonner will join Congressman Tim Bishop and Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker at a special Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Individual Assistance for Superstorm Sandy Information Session. The event, which is open to the public, will be held at the Rocky Point VFW Post 6249, located at 109 King Road in Rocky Point. Also in attendance will be officials from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration who will give a presentation and conduct a question and answer session. Town officials from the departments of Environmental Protection and Building, and the Office of Emergency Management will also participate.

“So many residents and business owners who were impacted by Sandy have questions and this is a great opportunity to speak with those who can provide the answers,” said Councilwoman Bonner, “I thank Congressman Bishop for organizing this event and the folks from FEMA and the Small Business Administration for offering their assistance.”
