Farmingville, NY – Soon, high school students will be preparing for the prom and the Department of Human Services’ Youth Bureau will be ready.
The Prom Boutique, located on the 2nd floor at Brookhaven Town Hall, will be open from March 3 through June 13 so young ladies who qualify for assistance can be dressed from head to toe, helping to make their prom dreams come true. Clients can choose from a selection of gently used gowns, handbags and costume jewelry, as well as make up and fragrances that are theirs to keep. There is no charge for this service and all clients are kept strictly confidential. Appointments are necessary and can be made by calling 631-451-8011.
The Prom Boutique will be open from March 3 through June 13, Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Special evening hours (5:30 PM to 7:30 PM) will be on March 25, April 30 and May 22.
If anyone is interested in making a donation of clothing and accessories, they can drop them off at the Prom Gown Boutique on the 2nd floor of Brookhaven Town Hall at 1 Independence Hill Farmingville New York. All clothing donations need to be dry cleaned and pressed before they can be accepted.
