Farmingville, NY – On June 2nd, and Receiver of Taxes Lou Marcoccia and Councilman Tim Mazzei were guests at the Boy Scouts of America Troop 80 (Farmingville) Eagle Court of Honor Ceremony at Sachem East High School in Farmingville. The event honored Logan Farrell for completing his Eagle service project and obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout. Logan was presented with a Certificate of Congratulations from the Town of Brookhaven.

Since the first Eagle Scout Award was presented in 1912, no more than 4 percent of all Scouts have attained the Eagle Scout rank.
