Other Elected Officials Will Join in Celebration

OCTOBER 4, 2006, FARMINGVILLE, NY – Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley and members of the Brookhaven Town Board, Congressman Tim Bishop, State Senator Ken LaValle, State Assemblyman Steven Engelbright, County Legislator Joe Caracappa and other government officials will break ground for the Rose Caracappa Senior Center in Mt. Sinai in a ceremony Thursday.

WHO: Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley and members of the Town Board including Councilmen Kevin McCarrick and Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld and Councilwoman Carol Bissonette, Congressman Tim Bishop, State Senator Ken LaValle, State Assemblyman Steven Engelbright, County Legislator Joe Caracappa, other elected officials.

WHY: Providing a state-of-the-art senior center for Brookhaven residents.
