
Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley, center right, and Highway Superintendent John Rouse, center left, hold the proclamation in remembrance of September 11, 2001 that was unveiled at a memorial service at Town Hall Monday morning. More than 600 town employees attended the ceremony, at which the Suffolk County Police Department's Emerald Society Band played.The proclamation will be engraved on a granite slab and installed at Town Hall.
