Professional organizers from across Long Island worked their magic on Dress for Success® Brookhaven in Medford, as well as at the Nassau County affiliate, organizing generous donations delivered by local residents and groups, crating organized surroundings that will benefit clients.

Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley expressed his appreciation for the efforts of more than 20 people, who assisted both the Medford and Hempstead locations.  “Our Dress for Success Brookhaven program has served nearly 2,000 women from every part of Suffolk County,” Foley said.  “We appreciate the willingness of the Professional Organizers to help make our boutique even more attractive and user-friendly than before.”  Foley continued, “Each Dress for Success client receives one suit for a job interview and additional clothes when she gets the job.  The Dress for Success Professional Women’s Group program then provides ongoing support to help the client build a successful career.  Dress for Success relies on the donation of quality business attire and accessories to help outfit their clients and having an organized showroom makes it easier to help more women in need.”

January is Get Organized Month SM within the National Association of Organizers.  During this time, all members are encouraged to raise awareness of the benefits of getting organized and using professional organizers to help achieve that goal.  Professional Organizers routinely work with clients that have unused quality business attire and accessories and frequently donate those items to Dress for Success.  When the Professional Organizers of Long Island were looking for a way to support NAPO’s Get Organized Month, they all agreed that Dress for Success Brookhaven and Dress for Success Nassau were a perfect fit!
