Town institutes major traffic calming devices along Longwood Road

October 10, 2006, FARMINGVILLE, NY – Councilwoman Connie Kepert will flip the switch and turn on a major traffic calming project at Longwood Junior High School and Longwood High School on October 11 at 2:30 p.m.

WHAT: Press conference unveiling major traffic mitigations installed along Longwood Road in Middle Island. Councilwoman Kepert will flip the switch turning on these devices.

WHEN: October 11, 2006 at 2:30 p.m.

WHERE: In between Longwood High School and Longwood Junior High School.

WHO: Councilwoman Connie Kepert and representatives from Longwood School District.

WHY: Tto educate the community about the new traffic calming devices the Town of Brookhaven has installed that will make the ride to school safer for all the children of Middle Island.
