Preserving William Floyd’s Legacy for Future Generations

OCTOBER 19, 2006, FARMINGVILLE, NY – Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley, Councilwoman Carol Bissonette and County Legislator Kate Browning will unveil a statue of William Floyd at the William Floyd Community Library on Saturday, October 21 at 11 a.m.

The statue was funded with Town of Brookhaven Community Development monies. The statue was crafted by Santo Matarazzo, a Brooklyn resident who summers in Mastic Beach.
