Foley Welcomes Safety Town Funding

OCTOBER 31, 2006, FARMINGVILLE, NY – Congressman Tim Bishop will present a check for $1,000,000 to Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley to fund the town’s construction of a Brookhaven Town Safety Town in a ceremony at the Brookhaven Town Hall auditorium in Farmingville on Wednesday, November 1 at 11:30 a.m. Supervisor Foley will also unveil an artist’s rendering of Safety Town.

WHAT: Presentation of check to construct Safety Town at Holtsville Ecology Site.
