Foley Team Again Saves Taxpayer Dollars
DECEMBER 4, 2006, FARMINGVILLE, NY – Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley and the Town Board will announce at a press conference Tuesday at Town Hall that the Town of Brookhaven will save millions of dollars in insurance costs next year as a result of going out to bid on the contract for the second year. This year, insurance costs were cut $1.3 million when competitive bidding on the contract took place for the first time in town history.
