Make plans to join supporters of Dress for Success Brookhaven at our third annual Evening at Atlantis. This popular event marks the organization’s tenth anniversary of assistance to low income women in Suffolk who are on the road to economic self-sufficiency.

   The event is set for Wednesday, October 10th, from 5:30 to 8:30 PM at Atlantis Marine World on Main Street in Riverhead. Proceeds from Evening at Atlantis go to support Dress for Success Brookhaven and its employment retention program, the Professional Women’s Group. Dress for Success Brookhaven is sponsored by the Town of Brookhaven’s Office of Women’s Services, and is the Suffolk County affiliate for Dress for Success Worldwide.

   Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley said, “We are pleased to have members of KeySpan Energy’s Outreach Council as our Success Builders award winners this year. This active group of employees volunteer their time and energy to a variety of community good works, including our Dress for Success program.”

   Brookhaven Town Councilwoman Kathleen Walsh noted, “Dress for Success is inaugurating a scholarship program for members of its Professional Women’s Groups, thanks to a generous donation from Lia Sophia representatives earlier this year.” Lia Sophia is one of the fastest growing direct sales company in the United States, selling high-quality jewelry; the company is a strong supporter of Dress for Success Worldwide, and its Long Island advisors held a fundraiser this past spring, donating $10,000 to Dress for Success Brookhaven.
