APRIL 10, 2006, FARMINGVILLE, NY –Brookhaven Town Supervisor Brian X. Foley invites the public to a blood drive to be held Friday, April 28 at Town Hall from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and also at two mobile units, one located at the Town Animal Shelter from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and the other located at the Town Highway Department from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

“I’d like to invite residents to join Brookhaven Town employees at this blood drive, one of three we conduct here at Town Hall each year,” said Supervisor Foley. “Last year, the town collected a total of 539 pints of blood, and was awarded the Pacesetter Award by Long Island Blood Services, an award that goes to organizations that collect more than 500 pints of blood in their drives. Please stop by and help our employees in their generous effort to give the gift of life.”
