Farmingville, NY – On Saturday, September 17th Councilwoman Jane Bonner will sponsor an E-Waste Drive at the Rose Caracappa Recreation Center located at 739 Route 25A in Mount Sinai from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The E-Waste drive is an event where old electronics can be safely collected and then recycled.

“E-waste is a growing problem and if not disposed of properly or recycled, it can be very harmful to the environment,” said Councilwoman Bonner. “We all have some of the these items in our closets, basements, garages and attics just gathering dust and now we have the opportunity to get rid of them and at the same time help make the earth a little more greener for our children.”

Residents are urged to bring the following items to be recycled:
