Supervisor Lesko Attends 2011 Patchogue Arts Council Biennial Reception at Briarcliffe College

Farmingville, NY – On October 28, Supervisor Mark Lesko joined Patchogue Mayor Paul Pontieri, members of the Patchogue Arts Council, artists and art enthusiasts for a reception to celebrate the 2011 Patchogue Arts Biennial presented by the Patchogue Arts Council. The event was held in the exhibition space at Briarcliffe College in Patchogue. The Patchogue Arts Biennial is an invitational exhibit featuring contemporary art by a diverse group of artists from Long Island.

Supervisor Lesko said, “The arts are alive and well in Brookhaven and the Patchogue Arts Council Biennial is a great example of the strong local support that they have. Congratulations to the Patchogue Arts Council on the success of their event and I urge everyone to stop by and spend some time at the gallery.”

The Patchogue Arts Biennial will continue until November 13. Viewing hours are Tuesday to Friday from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. Briarcliffe College is located at 225 West Main Street in Patchogue Village.
