Farmingville, NY – On November 11, Supervisor Mark Lesko and Councilman Tim Mazzei were guest speakers at the Veterans Day ceremony held at the Four Corners in Patchogue Village.

“We should remember to give thanks to all those who have served our country not only on Veterans Day, but everyday of the year,” said Supervisor Lesko, “I especially want to acknowledge the brave soldiers who are currently serving in Iraq and Afghanistan and let them know that they are always in our thoughts and prayers.”

“The veterans that we honor are among the finest and bravest men and women that this country has ever produced,” said Councilman Mazzei. “Their sacrifices, and the sacrifices of those who came before, allow all of us to enjoy the freedom and liberty that they fought to preserve.”
