Farmingville, NY – On December 4, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the Long Island Sharks Football Brunch at East Wind in Wading River where she presented certificates of appreciation to the organization’s volunteers. The Long Island Sound Sharks Football Program is one of the largest on Long Island with over 800 children. “The Long Island Sound Sharks football program teaches our youngsters many important life lessons including good sportsmanship and teamwork,” said Councilwoman Bonner. “I commend the volunteers who spend countless hours on and off the field working to make this program the best it can be and I congratulate all the players for another successful season.”
