Farmingville, NY – On December 12, Deputy Supervisor/Councilwoman Kathleen Walsh was proud to welcome Johnny’s Burgers to the 3rd Council District at their grand opening celebration. Located on Middle Country Road in Centereach across from CVS, Johnny’s Burgers has the feel of an old fashioned, individually-owned corner shop. Owner/operator Anthony DeLuca, his wife Gina and their four children live in the Middle Country community and they named the restaurant after their son Johnny. According to Mr. DeLuca, the burgers, hot dogs, wings, grilled cheese sandwiches, fries and old fashion shakes are made to order. He also works closely with a local butcher for his meats and cuts the Idaho potatoes on site. Deputy Supervisor / Councilwoman Walsh, who presented a Certificate of Congratulations to Mr. DeLuca, said, “Johnny’s Burgers is a wonderful place to bring the family and I wish the Deluca’s the best of luck in their new business.”
