Farmingville, NY – Councilman Dan Panico spoke before the Suffolk County Legislature to request that a fully signalized intersection be installed at the corner of County Road 111 and Halsey Manor Road, to improve safety to Manorville residents and others utilizing both town and county roadways. Following statements issued by Councilman Panico and residents, the legislature passed Legislator Ed Romaine’s resolution to direct the Suffolk County Department of Public Works to change the now blinking red traffic signal to a fully signalized traffic intersection.
