Farmingville, NY – The Eagle Scout Ceremony at the Coram Fire House, attended by Councilwoman Kepert, was unique as it included a father and son attaining the Boys Scouts of America’s highest rank; the Eagle Scout.

Nathan Christian, the younger Eagle Scout, constructed a handicap ramp at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Coram for his Eagle Scout honor. Andrew, Nathan's dad, was also inducted into the elite numbers of young men who become Eagle Scouts. Andrew, who had his Board of Review over 20 years ago, joined the military and served his country before the process could be completed. Troop 64 rectified that and both father and son were honored. Nathan's grandparents were on hand to enjoy the ceremony. “It was my pleasure to attend Andrew and Nathan Christian’s Eagle Scout ceremony,” stated Councilwoman Kepert.
