Program offers education and training to students entering the workforce

Farmingville, NY – On February 1, Receiver of Taxes Louis Marcoccia attended the grand opening of the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Employment Resource Center, located at the Brookhaven Technical Center in Bellport.

"In today’s challenging employment climate, it is important that folks in the job market have access to those resources which will better prepare them for future employment. BOCES has a long and proven track record of success in producing highly trained and motivated students," said Mr. Marcoccia.

The Eastern Suffolk BOCES Employment Resource Center offers a variety of services to students looking for assistance in their careers, whether they are joining the workforce for the first time or want to sharpen their skills. One-on-one career counseling, help with resumes and cover letters, and mock job interviews are among the many services available at the center.
