Welcome to the Brookhaven Town Clerk's Office a people-oriented and busy department, serving the needs of our taxpayers.

The Town Clerk's Office seeks to provide the best possible service to our customers. We strive to provide information and hearing notices to Town staff, other public agencies, and the public; legislative support to the Supervisor and Town Council; election coordinator for Primary and General Elections; source for voter registration forms and absentee ballot applications and offers records management services to Town staff accurately, promptly, efficiently, and in a friendly and helpful manner. We seek to make every contact with our customers a positive and rewarding one and to be sensitive and responsive to their needs.

Now available for you on the Town Website are the many activities and licenses available through the Town Clerk's offices. Through this online service, we have provided our residents with information on obtaining New York State licenses, permits, as well as important records and an array of Town licenses and permits. For your convenience forms are now writable online.
