On Saturday, October 4th, 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.The Brookhaven Animal Shelter will host it's 5th annual Barktoberfest at the shelter. This fun filled family event is held each year to encourage residents to "Think Adoption first". The event includes face painting, dog contests such as world class tail wagging, musical sit, costume and best trick to name a few. Residents are welcome to bring their pets.

1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Dog Contest's

10:00a.m  - 3:00 p.m. Low-Cost vaccinations for companion animals within Brookhaven Town

Rabies Vaccination $15.00 each

*DA2PP Vaccination (dog) $15.00 each

*Bordatella Vaccination $15.00 each

*Lyme or Lepto $20.00 each

*FVRCP Vaccination (cat) $15.00 each

*all vaccines will need a booster in 3 - 4 weeks for full immunity except the rabies vaccine.

11:00 - 4:00 p.m. Rescue groups featuring small critters
