Shelter Outreach


The affection and unconditional love of a companion animal is invaluable. For this reason the wonderful homeless pets at the Adoption Center regularly visit nursing homes, senior centers and adult day care facilities. It is an amazing sight to see the smiles and happiness come across the faces of the seniors when they hug and snuggle with our pets, the delight they bring is nothing short of miraculous.

For those who are no longer able to experience the joys of pet ownership this time is precious. It has been proven that interaction with pets lowers blood pressure and we have witnessed non-verbal seniors speak and respond to our furry, four legged miracle workers.
