Home for the Holidays Adoption Campaign 10th Anniversary!

Please stop by the Adoption Center as we join other shelters worldwide in celebrating Home for the Holidays 2008 10th anniversary campaign. 

You may just find a four footed furry friend to love.

The Brookhaven Animal Shelter & Adoption Center kicked off it's annual Home for the Holidays Adoption Campaign October 1,2008 and will continue through January  5, 2009.  This campaign is designed to increase awareness of homeless pets available for adoption at the shelter.  A "Tree of Hope" stands outside the shelter. After each animal goes home, a bulb will be lit.

Representatives from the Town of Brookhaven, Iams, Helen Woodward Animal Center and puppies from the Brookhaven Animal Shelter & Adoption Center participated in the Opening Ceremony of the New York Stock Exchange on December 24, 2007.
