Barry arrived in May of 2009; he was picked up stray by an Animal Control Officer. Barry a neutered Shepherd mix who is middle aged immediately began showing us that he had endured an injury that would require surgery with a three month recuperation period. Barry had his surgery but after two months he was no longer moving forward in his recovery. Further x-rays revealed that he had too much arthritis already set in prohibiting him from completely healing. Shortly after that discovery Barry had that leg amputated; he is now completely healed and knows no bounds. Barry now runs and plays and truly enjoys life. He is very gentle with other animals and no longer requires any medication. Barry will make a wonderful addition to a family looking to share their love, lives and home. All of Barry’s extensive and expensive medical care was made possible through Help The Animals Fund, Inc. an independent 501 (c) (3) charitable organization.
UPDATE: BARRY WAS ADOPTED!
